HALF YEARLY REPORT 20251st July 2025 |
I’m sure all readers will be aware that I have set our 2025 calendar year screening target at 12,000 screenings. As at 30th June 2025, 8421 screenings have taken place around Australia and some, for the first time, in New Zealand. Should these numbers continue, we will once again exceed our target quite significantly. This is a wonderful endorsement of the level of support and commitment shown by all participants and on behalf of the National Committee may I express my sincere thanks to all involved.Bryan Hearn OAM JP- Chair, LEHP-Australia |

2024 Screening ResultsJanuary 21, 2025 |
We are so pleased to officially report our final 2024 figures from the Children’s Vision Screening Program. We had a LEHP record breaking year with 15,026 children across Australia receiving a free vision screening. These fantastic results are only possible thanks to the hard work of our Management Committee, our dedicated volunteer screening teams all over the country and the support of so many generous Clubs.

Shirley’s Shark PitchSeptember 9, 2024 |
Recently Shirley from Marino Digby Lions Club (V2) made an incredible pitch to secure funding to purchase vision screening equipment for the Club. As a result of her efforts, Shirley received pledges of $20,000 to go towards their set up expenses and more. What an incredible result!
