Vision Screening Equipment Kits

As the result of a generous grant from LCIF, LEHP has provided a children’s vision screening kit in every District in Australia.

To request use of your District’s kit, please contact the relevant LEHP Representative.

Purchasing your own equipment is not a requirement to participate in the Children’s Vision Screening Program. However, if your Club, District or Zone is committed to the program and would like to purchase their own screening kit, please complete the application below.

Before a screening equipment purchase will be approved, you must have a fully trained screening team, including a Facilitator to take receipt of the equipment. Screening kits are only available for purchase by Lions and are not available to members of the public.

Screening kits are subject to availability and allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. We recommend applying for a matching grant to help cover the cost of approximately $10,000. The kit includes a spot vision camera, 2 Lea symbol charts, a stereo 3D fly, colour vision testing cards and a portable white light.

Please note, no new kits will be available until February 2026.
